Maya Kosugi

Maya Kosugi (she/her) is delighted to return as a NYC fellow. Being a LUNAR fellow and joining Minbuza, Japanese Folk Dance of NY (with Tori!) changed her life last year. Maya co-created and co-facilitates the LUNAR Book Club, and proudly joined Rachel Chang, Rabbi Mira and Maryam in bringing family-centric events to the NYC hub. She is passionate about making people feel welcomed and connected, which has informed all of her career work, and her work within this beautiful collective.
