Maya Kosugi

Maya Kosugi (she/her) is a New York City fellow and a LUNAR Book Club facilitator and Community Leader. She cares deeply about self-expression and making people feel welcomed and connected, which has informed her work in the elementary school classroom, as an election worker and fiber art gallery manager, and as a future speech-language therapist. Inspired by her friends, colleagues and mentors in LUNAR, Maya wants her fellowship to promote the joys of being Asian and Jewish, while also engaging with the complexities of having these identities, particularly in the current moment.
