About the event
Join us in NYC for Let Your Let Shine: Asian Jewish Hanukkah! Enjoy a Kosher Chinese meal, latkes, sufganiyot (donuts), songs, and Asian Jewish community. This event is made possible with support from OneTable, Shine a Light, and Moishe House / The Selma and Lawrence Ruben Base UWS.
This event is open to Asian American Jews. We define Asian American Jews as folks who identify as both Jewish (whether by heritage, religion, or culture) and Asian American. This can include mixed-race folks, transracial adoptees, Asian Jews by Choice, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism.
In the spirit of keeping this event accessible, we are offering tickets on a pay-what-you-can model. The true cost of attendance is $65 per person, including venue costs, insurance, food, supplies, security, and compensation for our Asian Jewish organizers and staff. We invite you to pay what you can, to help us make this event a success!
