About the event
Join the LUNAR Collective for a beginner-friendly, Jewish-themed yoga flow. The theme of this class is gratitude. Through a guided practice, we will explore gratitude as an embodied, Jewish spiritual practice. While this class will be geared towards adults, all ages and experience levels are welcome.
Who's invited?
This event is open to Asian American Jews. We define Asian American Jews as folks who identify as both Asian American and Jewish — this can include mixed-race folks, transracial adoptees, Asian Jews by Choice, and more. We fully welcome those exploring Judaism or in the conversion process.
Things to know:
Please wear comfortable clothing and have a water bottle handy. Please also bring a yoga mat, yoga blocks, a chair, and a yoga strap. A towel can be used in place of a yoga mat. Books, cans, or water bottles can be used in place of blocks. A belt can be used in place of a yoga strap. Learn about how to make your own yoga props here. When you RSVP, please list any accessibility needs you have (ex. wrist mobility issues, lower back pain, etc.).
