About the event
Join Jewtina y Co. and The LUNAR Collective for an event where cultures meet in the kitchen. We'll open with a panel conversation featuring Gabriella Stern, a Costa Rican Jewish chef, alongside Will Sacks and Lanty Hou — the couple and culinary globetrotters behind Bagel Joint, where globally-inspired bagels are crafted as an exploration of Jewish diaspora and a celebration of fusion. Together, the panelists will discuss food as a vehicle for cultural hybridity and innovation — how diasporic identities layer, collide, and create something new at the table.
From there, we'll move into the kitchen as Gabby leads a hands-on baking workshop where participants make two High Holiday rugelach recipes with a Latin-Jewish twist.
