About the event
In the joyous fall holiday of Sukkot, we are instructed to build and dwell in a sukkah, a temporary structure where we can celebrate, eat meals, gather in community, and create our own space. Each year, LUNAR's Rabbi in Residence, Rabbi Mira Rivera, helps to build and host the Harlem Havrutah Sukkah, an accessible communal sukkah in Harlem, NY, generously hosted by our friends at St Mary's Episcopal Church.
This Sukkot, join Rabbi Mira, LUNAR Ritual Director Rachel Chang, and LUNAR Collective community members in building, decorating, and celebrating in the Harlem Havrutah Sukkah! There are two opportunities to join in the Sukkot celebration with us this year -- we'd love to see you at either event, or at both!
